long story short the only thing i need left to finish my i.c.e is a flip out lcd

ill have a ps3 going to it so it doesnt need a built in dvd or cd player or anything like that plus all audio will be going through my eclipse 8445 headunit

so just a flip out 7in lcd that can fit in a single din, has some tilt options (HAS to be able to tilt back), and just one video input would be great

but i cant find any such product
if you could lead me in the right direction; thatd be great

thank you

would there be any difference in actual video quality between say a jensen and a nice eclipse one or w/e?

i am using it with a blu ray player so video quality is somewhat importance

So why are you asking for a cheap unit if you want quality?

i got a clarion vrx745vd = brainless
theres some reviews about em. the gear is broke so the screen wont retract on it but my boy had the exact one and it is nice. vid quality is one of its better ..qualities.
though , when compared to a deh4800 , it doesnt seem loud enough, and there is few EQ settings. can be had ~500.

I cannot imagine the logic in putting a 700$ video game system in your CAR then going unreasonably cheap on the display............

its not that im going cheap at all
the reason screens are expensive are because they have eqs, amps, radio,cd/dvd players, etc...

i dont need any of that
im still using my eclipse 8445 for all of my audio and will just be using this thing as a monitor
so basically im looking for a flipout headrest monitor
and i see no reason paying 300+ for such a product that has a radio and **** that i dont want and/or need

that was all actually just a thought i had
i ended up using my old xbox and just modded it w/a 300gig harddrive so it can hold most of my music
i also have the ability to use it to play dvds, picture cds, xbox games, software programs, movies on hard drive, and emulators

My issue with people using the PS3 in the car is it really needs a high def display to show what it is made of. Graphics in a car wont be much better than a PS2 and the game selection isn't that hot on PS3 yet. Only reason to do it would be coolness factor.
