Speaker level inputs or new head unit??

hey guys,
I just got done hooking my amp up in my trans am using the stock head unit with the speaker level inputs, and I'm not too happy about the sound quality. I've also been looking at the Sony Gt-400, mainly b/c it'll match the interior of my car, but I haven't heard great things about Sonys.....what would you guys recommned for about $100-$150?? What I'm going to be running is the Alpine MRP-F240 on all fours, and a Profile amp matched to a Punch 10".....

We are runing a mach 5 audio 12 with a lancer 300 watts comtinus i think thats the amp. To be really i woulde go with what ever head unit y like

For the price range that you are wanting to spend, I would consider Kenwood. Look for the kdc-mp4028, kdc-mp4032, or kdc-mp5032 on ebay.
