Time to migrate to DVD/MP3 hu's?

i was wondering since when we have DVDs out in our puters, and how the best hu manufacturers still make every year CD hu's with mp3 support (yeah, i know some ****** ones make dvd with mp3 support, but i'm talking about good quality ones, such as alpines, clarions, pioneers, etc)...

i know some of them even have some models with dvd+mp3 support, but they all cost too much... they should replace the CD for DVDs at once...

it's like, geesh, everyone now uses DVD hehe

JVC's HUs with "Giga MP3" have been doing this for a while. Other manufacturers are slowly adding it, but I agree with what you're saying in that if a HU can read DVDs, it ought to read MP3s off a DVD as well (but not all of them do).
