i got the t1s and i asked rockford if i can go bandpass and thay said i can do a 6th order but it will not work in a 4th order??:crap: Now i like a good 4th order box.So if i go 6th order can i still have good sql:uhoh: or will it be a one hit wonder??? i ask this because i have never heard that type of box'411'

the reason they said no 4th order, is its a good PORTED sub. same as a 4th order, just a ported box firing into a ported box. instead of sealed into ported.

6th have a quicker rolloff kinda like a eq that has a 24db rolloff and one that has a 6db rolloff.

The 6th order needs a mid bass setup where as a 4th order rolls slower and is not as needy of a good midbass.

ok cool thanks for the input. If i did a 6th order box.Will it be bigger then my box which is 5cuft net.Also will i gain a night and day diffrents?

The one for my 12 is right a lil less.
2.4 into a 1.3.........then add .8 or so for ports and .1 for sub=4.6 or so.........there bouts;)

Except at tuning Im gainin 2.5-4.6dbs.

i'mma tell u now...u will need around 6 cubes of inter airspace to have a pretty good 6th order for your t1 12
