This is for a home audio application, I will probably put it in a ~5 cub box tuned low. The power will come frim a nady XA-900, giving the sub 800-900 watts @ 2ohms/ channel. What would you recommend for sheer output? Fi SSD or others? Just looking for some opinions

18w6 is rated for 500-600wrms into 12 or 3 ohms.

Is there a reason you want to go with an 18"?

18's usually have more displacement, although there are 15's that outpreform 18's i agree
