Look at some Crystal SSCS6's and find an amp that gives then around 150rms. Im gonna be showing mine close to 200rms, just making sure i check the gains to prevent damage. Mount the tweets in the A-pillar for good imaging.

If they are going in kickpanels, first try them with the tweeter mounted in the kick with the mid.

Properly aimed kicks should image just fine.

kick panel is where your feet go right? why would anyone put speakers down there?

Equalized pathlengths, for one.

You've seriously never heard of a kickpanel installation?

What is better having kickpanels or having midbass in the door and tweeter in the a pillar?

Kickpanels, IMO.

The only way the other setup would even potentially work is with independent time alignment...and even then I'm not really a fan of high-mounted tweeters.

Independent time alignment? What exactly does that mean? Is it a huge sound difference in kickpnaels?

Meaning you can individually time align each speaker.
