What is a good sounding set of compontents for under 200? And where would i put the tweeter since my car doesn't have stock tweeters? I have heard just tape it or attack it somehow to the dash but i would like it if looked like it belonged there.

You either cut out a hole in the suitable position, or you just use surface mount cups.

Really, there are a lot of good sounding components for $200...

Do surface mount cups come with the components or are they extra?

Surface mount cups usually come with components...at least any components I've ever bought.

How about a brand new old school Soundstream Exact 6.3 6.5" component set for $145?

I just ran across this on EBay..........

Are these mb quarts good?
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6641.html

I like the idea that they can be used as compnents or coaxials.
the PCEs are a little expensive for me and I don't really want to buy off ebay.

Is there anyway to figure out your max mounting depth for the speakers without taking out the stock speaker and checking? Maybe a website?

Website: search for crutchfeild and cartoys.

Mount the tweeter close to the mid in the doors. Don't mount on the dash... too many nearfield and harsh reflections from the windsheild.

Orion P series.

Another vote for the SPX-177R's.

Isn't Fusion like the Audiobahn of Australia?
