Is 480p like "standard"? Its as close to high definition as a regular DVD can get. I think they call it "Extended Definition"

of corse it doesnt your vieving it wiht your laptop/computer screen wich is probably 20" or smaller and the camera was a cheaper one.

come to my house and then tell me that.

everyone i have demoed my hd-dvd setup just says and does this :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: including my girl wich hates me spending money since she is the one that works lol

Honestly, i dont know what it is. But when i see HDTV on one of our huge screens i just can't tell that much of a difference. The picture is a bit "crisper" but nothing that would make my head turn if i hadn't seen it before.

I've worked with HD since late '98 and true HD content, from aquisition to presentation WILL turn your head. High Definition and Digital got muddied in this country thanks to marketing. There are 24, I think, Digital formats that are confused now with HD. A freeze frame from even ANALOG 1080i HD on a 50" Barco CRT looks like a SLIDE.

Pictures from a laptop won't do HD justice, it will look better though.
