I hadn't got around to deadening the doors in the WJ till now. I took some pics along the way. I used RAAMmat BTX, I put two layers on the front and a layer on the inner door skin.

The woofer in the picture is a Dayton 7" RS.

It sounds great. Night and day difference.
I'll actually have to spend some time re-eqing it, because the mid-bass is a little overbearing now.

I don't think it's that bad.
It's pretty easy to work with, doesn't smell bad, and I didn't cut my fingers to shreds.

I would definitely recommend cleaning the surface WELL before applying any kind of dampening material, to ensure proper sealing and application.
Nice job on the doors, very clean install of that **** dayton. Where are your tweeters located? Seems like a high place to have a mid, notice anything different about the sound stage?

The door was actually fairly clean, except for a little mud near the bottom. I just used a little degreaser and it was nice and clean.
Currently, the tweeters are up on the dash, crammed in the stock location. I'm moving them in the A-Pillars as soon as I have the time to messed around with fiberglass, because I've never 'glassed anything before.
