Straight up bro, you're NOT going to get a box that drops straight into your trunk that will hold two 15L7's ported, it's just not going to be possible. In trunk build or lose one of the 15's :(

Or go sealed lol

so... i guess im goin to have to build this inside of my trunk then ;( ..how would i go about doin that? build everything and place it in my trunk and add the top part of the box while its in the trunk or what? im gonna start my build this weekend so i wanna get as much info as possible before i start to buy some supplies :) thanks.

ok, but you can take off the back seat, then im guessing that you may be seperated by a metal plate

i take out my back seat and theres 2 metal bars crossin each other like an X, i can see my trunk and fit some tools by the metal tho if thats what ur leanin towards.

yea you would really want to cut those out, i got 5 cubes ported in the trunk of my civic, how much air space are you looking for and tuned to what

i was gonna go with 4.5^ at 35Hz, im about to go do a cut out with some cardboard to see if its gonna fit, my trunk is weird, its f*ckin huge but changes hight every foot.

Just use one man. No point in using two half assed subs versus one perfect one.

thats true but if theres a way to fit them both correctly id do that too, p.s. thanx 4 not responding to my requests for box designs

Also, if you sent it a few weeks ago, I wasn't doing any designs anyway.

Sure man, get at me any time. It was just that I was trying to apply to 8 colleges and 5 scholarships and I needed a lot of time for that, and a lot of time for designs. Don't want half-assed applications, and don't want to make half-assed designs. :)

ight so i went with the 4.5^ at 35hz design and did a model of it using cardboard, looks like its gonna fit in my trunk after all :)

(not that even in the front due to weak tape but it fits with about an inch of room left over)

http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/24/trunk2hy3.jpg

... the plans say 15.5 tall for all the pieces but i made the cardboard 16.5 cuz of the MDF is gonna make the box taller and i didnt wanna to risk any problems when i begin the build.

sure it fits in the trunk, but can it fit into the trunk?

sure it fits in the trunk, but can it fit into the trunk?

im pretty sure it can, the space from the top of my trunk to the end (where my tail lights are) is about 23.5 inchs, so hopefully it will just drop right in and all i have to do is slide it back. Im gonna build everything but not put the top on right way, so just incase that it doesnt fit, i can slide the bottom pieces in and then add the top.
