i doubt they'd even have to be IB, most tweets are enclosed, so you could really just put it anywhere

did they ended up looking like that or did you paint the pillars?^

i wrapped them i headliner material.
on th eright one (bottom picture) i pulkled the fabric a little too much when wraping it and that is why there are "waves" along the edge.
but they really dont show much unless you are looking for them.

they look great for the price.

can you grind the front plate down a little on the sides
to make it smaller, then use some touchup paint.

I think you can take off the mounting plate and mount them using those holes This would take up an inch or so less in a kick. It might work just an idea.

i think it ruins the axis of the sound if i do that and i thiink the textile dome is attached to it...im not sure plus did you see how big the magnet is it wouldnt make a dif if i were to take the plate off.

weren't these used on home speakers? when i bought some vifa's about 10 plus years ago. they couldn't handle to much power, and i remember they needed a 1micro farad yellow mylar cap. to smooth them out. or they sounded harsh.

Megalomaniac
09-03-2006, 03:57 AM
it doesnt really matter wheather they are home or not, as longs as you have the right ohm rating that i need. but home is usually 8ohms but these are 4ohms so they should be meant for car
