Have you broken anything on the car yet?

neutral drop at 6k FTW!

Just hold the brake give it gas and apply more brake as the car goes foward. Getting a line lock is the best tho cause it keeps the front brake on and the rears doing nothing so you dont burn up the pads.

neutral dropping is horrible for any car power braking is better but still not entirely harmless to the car :up2somet:

well i cant get a linelock thing but i should hold the brake up to 6k rpm then let off brakes and burn em and move or keep holding the brakes so i move slowly while buring out? haha ill try it tomarrow if the cars here and noone home

What kinda car is it?

But this is what you do.

1.apply brake to where the car is barley moving.
2.then push on the brake pedal a tad bit more just incase.
3.mash the gas pedal.
4.apply brakes more to keep the car from moving foward.
5. let off the brakes to move foward.

Being older and having been through all that "fun stuff", think about replacing them? I now have a 02' Roush, which can "smoke em'", but I do not want to have to pay for the replacements. I guess I am just old and responsible...

That changes it all.

Now you just pull the ebrake all the way, push on the brake pedal all the way, give the car gas until the car starts to move, then floor the gas and let off the brake pedal.

You can get them past little over 100 if you have enough straight, flat road. I don't know.Been too long since I've driven one.

my friend had a 94 cavalier....thing was a pos....but it could get to 100 pretty easily...not too quick but it could.....i'd follow him around and he'd get pissed cuz my taurus could keep up with him....and pass him:up2somet:

as far as burn outs go....i don't really know....my car actually does decent ones just flooring it from a stop(93 ford taurus sho)

you're not the only one...I hate paying for new tires to the point where it hurts to heat up my DRs at the track :(

the best way to burnout is get a manual trans and a faster car :P

:word:life

buy a fast car, then you dont have to worry about burning out.

:fyi: if you have to use some sort of "tactic" to burn out, you shouldnt be burning out anyways:fyi:

if you dont have a sports car, dont drive like you do.

Just put the vehicle in 1st gear (that's if that is an option with an auto). Hold the brakes down pretty hard, start giving the car gas till the tires start spinning, then ease off the brake just enough so you don't move (get some smoke out of them) and then left off the brakes and leave some nice tire marks. At least that's what I do, as you can see in my avartar :)

the brake trick doesn't work so well with front wheel drive cars. it's either neutral drop, bleech or hold the e-brake and mash the gas for you

edit: or do all three at once

Kaltenberg
08-18-2006, 07:12 PM
my friends and i are gonna spread bleeche across his country street and just *** around all day haha
