I bought this pioneer 12" woofer, which handles 450watts peak and 140watts rms, i am going to run it with a pioneer bridgeable amplifier that puts out 100watts rms.
the back of the woofer says to use 1.5 cubic feet, but after reading stuff online about allowing extra space for the displacement that the woofer's volume will create, i made my box to 1.75cubic feet.
My question is this lets say i had a 1.5 cubic foot box, what would the difference in sound be if i decreased the volume and what would the sound be like if i increased the volume??? and , is my box ok or did i make it too big?

1.75cu.ft isnt too big. It shouldnt effect the subs performance that much, it may actually improve it.

Try it out, see how it sounds...if you dont like it you can add some MDF pieces in the box do decrease the airspace until you like how it sounds:)
