Crossover ?

i jus got some mb quarts and their my first set of comps and was wondering on the crossover, what is the difference in -6db, -3db and 0db? i dont know what they mean and the manual says nothing. Also what one should i go with?thanks

Tweeter attenuation. So @ -6dB, the level of the tweets would be cut down, and at 0dB it would be bypassed.

Helpful if you find them to be way too bright and don't want to rely on an EQ.
