2 Sound System Questions!!!

Just bought some Alpine Type R speakers on Ebay. (350w, 70 RMS)

Want to install them into my 2002 lancer.

Just a few questions maybe you guys can help me with?

1. Since I got them on Ebay, the speakers were missing some parts: The tweeters.
Where could I find tweeters that I could connect to these speakers? Would Any
old tweeters work? Would the speakers still sound ok without them?

2. I am going to need an amp to power the speakers. What kind of amp will I need?
(I might get a subwoofer later on)

You need tweeters...:)

You could always get a tweeter with a relatively good frequency response (down past 3KHz) and run active instead of using the supplied crossovers. You'd need four channels of amplification and an outboard crossover, but the results would be well worth it.

yup your gonna need some tweeters.. and buy a 2 channel amplifier for the speakers.. nothing too powerful.. buy a 4 channel if you plan to run some decent rear speakers too.. if you plan on buying a subwoofer later.. then your gonna need a amp for that too .. thats the basics ..
