Just as the title says, just looking for some of you guys findings that has owned both sets or has heard both sets. What are your views or what do you think are some differences between the two sets. I personally own a couple sets of the Pro6.5's but have yet to install them because I'm waiting on more equipment to come in and I may be getting ready to get rid of my STS, so I don't know yet, but anyway I'm just curious as to what others think.........:D :D :D

Well, I ordered a set of Pro 6.5's from Indoaudio on Ebay and was absolutely PISSED when they sent me Pro60's. I installed them anyway though and was pleasantly inclined to them after I listened a while... enough so that I kept them. I would pretty much guess that %90 would be happy with either speaker, but maybe that's just me.

Refresh me, but are the Pro6.5's the older version, and the Pro60's are the new ones? Because if thats the case, the Pro60's are miles ahead IMO. Not only are the 6.5'' and old and discountinued product, but the pro60's have much better crossovers and the woofers are better designed.

I have talked to quite a few people that have had or still have Boston's. The only complaint that i know of is they are pricey. I was looking to get some but it is too much for me to pay. Otherwise Iveheard nothing but good things about them...

this is exactly the reason i bought them too, everyone said great things and not a single person could come up with anything bad besides: " you might find the tweeters harsh ". Another reason was that I had a 300x2rms class A/B 2 channel amp I wanted to use for my front stage :naughty:

Now that I have them I wouldn't touch anything else, seriously.

Pro 6.5's are the Older Versions of the Z6's, the model before the Z6's came out, the Pro 60's are a level Lower than the Z6's

I thought that the 6.5's where replaced by the 60's, I didn't know that the Z6 was what actually replaced the 6.5's.........
By the way do you still have that set of 6.4's for sale ??????:D :D :D

I've been hanging in the shadows lately, just doing a lot of reading others trends and peeking my head in every now and then......works a killer, and leaves me mental drained most days.......:D :D :D

I used to be in the car business as a finance manager and here about a year ago I was offerred the position of store manager for one of the two new RentNRoll stores here, so I weighed my options of equal money and better hours and went with RentNRoll.........:D :D :D
