I was recomended by Jntar and davidfre21 about these midwoofers, they seem to know what they are talking about, but i wanted some more opinions from everyone before i purchase today. Suposebly they are as good as the extremis's. Any recommendations for nice inexpensive tweeters also.

i used to run them in some kicks that i made and was very happy with them.
the mid-bass was slightly lacking since i had them in unsealed kicks.
i kind of wish that i didnt sell them but i am happy with my dayton 8's :)
as far as the tweeter i have heard great things about the tweeter that comes with the arbiter HT (http://www.ascendantaudio.com/Arbiter_TM.html) set
160 for a pair of tweters and a pair of mids
but they are about 2" in diameter so you might want to find something a little smaller.

I wouldn't say there 100% as good as the extremi...

But for $35 each... they're hard to pass up...

I'm currently running them... they worked well for my appication... I doubt they will be hanging around after I get the horns in.

I still need some tweeters.if run tweeters active throught my existing oem wires.do I just splice tweeter into it? or do I need to get them bass blocker wires to run inbetween the the tweeter and oemwire?

well, if u were to run active, you wouldnt need to run a bass blocker, you would just set the xover point to the freq u want to play ur tweets at
