finally gathered the funds together to complete my project; (2) jl 12w7's powered by a orion 2500d. box specs are 5.25 cu. ft. tuned to 34hz with 75 in. of port area. just finished it tonight, it came out very solid. i'm happy:D let me know what you guys think...

3/4" mdf, with another 1/2" piece of wood doubled up so my front piece is 1.25" thick.

i used 8 guage power wire for my speaker wires, drilled a hole for a 3/8" bolts for my "terminal", and just attatched them with ring terminals to the bolts. should get a good connection.
