Well I was all set to get a MS6 on the 1st of August or so and then I came upon this on ebay today: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180006229700&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3AAAQ%3AUS%3A1

The only thing I don't like is the auto tranny but that can be overlooked b/c I talked to the seller and he said 24k out the door for it and he'll hold it for 2 weeks with a 500 deposit. I have until 7/15 to decide so unless anyone here thinks that G35 isn't worth it vs. the MS6 I think I've made up my mind.

Gs are nice as hell. Basically a Z with little backseats.

Nice looking car. The rims are a bit on the small side, and then they wrap them in a thick 255. IMO stay with the black rims but get them in 18's or 19's would be perfect. And alittle thinner rubber

G35 is on a differnt chassis than a Z.

no need for 19's when all they would be is heavy. now some 18" alloys on the other hand that might be what i go for. as is, those rims are plenty nice enough for me.

seen cheaper honestly but they aren't giovanni or lexani but they look nice. if i don't like em' they'll get ditched but i like the look of the rims. the tires are at least solid tires.

-1 for automatic. I don't really know what to think of the G35 coupe, it's nice from certain angles, and it's ugly from other angles. That's with the wing and sports package as well.

The G has SUCH a smooth tranny. Will he let you come down and drive it? Make sure there's no minor paint damage, etc? Be aware that those things aren't all that gentle on gas. But ******* is the tranny smooth. Even with the auto, it's a pleasure to drive. But look - Tiptronic ;)

EDIT - ****, this place has some nice cars for sale - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170005802101&ssPageName=MERC_VI_ReBay_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores_IT#eba yphotohosting

Only thing that comes close to manual is BMW's SMG and some Paddleshift based gearboxes.

as far as auto's go that g35 has IMO the 2nd smoothest i've ever felt. the smoothest i've felt was in a 745 06' BMW that i drove in the spring. I can test drive it i just can't drive til' the 1st of august lol. still have the foot problem going on.

please stop posting in my threads. i already stated i have no want for 19"s and i'm not going to "slam that bizatch" as you put it. the suspension will be redone but i'm not changine the ride hide at all as it's IMO perfect with weight distro right where it's at.

turbo, prolly 99% not unless it's way down the road. we're talking suspension, brake upgrade(if it doesn't have the brembo already), body kit, and a built up engine. Turbo is the final step I'll ever do on a car, unless it comes standard.

marley i'll copy the pics tonight from my pc and post a few here so you can see. it's an 04' black coupe, 56k miles, black 17" semi cheap but IMO good lookin' rims, moonroof, bose surrond, xenon headlights, fully loaded with everything but navi. and it'll be 25,600 b/c i live in Tx which is still like 4k under average retail according to NADA.

i like the look of those black rims.. also those auto's shift hella good, i drove one around for about half a year.. plus if u do turbo it, auto is better, dont loose spool up and will be faster than manual.

bumpin_blazer

yeah those auto's are really smooth and the tiptronic is IMO the most responsive i've driven.

Yeah 17 is small for a G and those Motegis are generally cheap as hell. 19s look awesome, 20s work too but a tad too big for my taste. 255s are pretty pathetic for aftermarket wheels. The factory wheels on my Z fit 225 front 255s rear and the main reason I would consider bigger wheels is to get 245 front and 285s in the rear for more traction

you do know that auto dealerships list cars on there as well right? hell it's no different then buying something from autotrader. it's not like i'm buying it before i go and test drive it, or at least sit in the passenger seat while my dad drive's it as i can't drive still:(.

it's still better than stock IMO. i only say that b/c it matches the car exterior better. i plan on putting rims on after a while as it seems that a friend of mine love's those rims and i might just sell em' to him as he drive's an altima and i think they have the same lug nut pattern. he said those go for about 1100 with those tires so i'll sell em' for 800 and then get some sweet black alloy's.:D

I understand, just me. Best of luck with the decision. My vote is still an S4, but I don't really think you can go wrong with any of those choices.

if my rents are all for it i'm hoping i'll have it by heatwave which is next weekend and i can take it there. i can't drive it but i can take it and at least it won't be like when i pulled up in my jacked up gmc jimmy, it was loud but it was ugly as hell from the front.

Has 56000 miles on it, so you know what I would say. ;)

New car that is faster and has warranty to older car with high miles(dont care if it is highway) that most likely has no warranty. Well if it was me I know what I would do.

it boils down to my parents really. they cosign so i have to have their approval which is gay. i don't have a long enough job history to get more than a 9k loan according to my bank and like 4 other loan places i've called.

There are places where you can get a loan , the interest will be high but it will increase your credit score by leaps and bounds! Banks are pretty ghey about that little stuff, I couldn't get a 5000 loan with good job history good credit history. WFT???? They said my age put me in an at risk group or something. I ended up getting 12% interest but I got my truck.

I opted out of getting a sweet car much like the one you are looking at mostly because I still need practicality and gas mileage, and I wanted to get a loan where my parents wouldn't have to co-sign so I could be more independent and bolster my credit score in case I want to buy a house.

Yeah i hear ya. I mean I am sure you could get a car loan like you are saying, but with out a long work history or hell of a credit report then you will be paying interest out the ***. I am currently at 8%. Is a hella lot better than the 24% I was paying on my cavalier due to that bankruptcy I went through a few years ago. IF you want that car and your parents are willing to cosign, then go for it, just your credit score wont go up that much. Also if you cant make payments and **** your putting your parents credit in jeperody. I am sure you will make them, just saying is all. Good luck!

i can do a 54 month 5.6% or a 55-60 month 5.8% ;). My parents have perfect credit or **** near it. i think their credit score is like 4 points off perfect lol.

to noah, yeah 19"s are down the road possibly but if i get em', it'd be these: http://superbuytires.com/Giovanna/Sabina/ if i had the $ ;).
