Im gonna be ordering the dayton 1000w plate amp, and the 15" dayton titanic mkIII.

i need help with the speakers though. ive already ordered these:

4 of these: (2 per tower) http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=295-335&CFID=2373457&CFTOKEN=97280804

2 of these: (1 per tower)

should i keep these speakers? this is not for a setup to watch movies on. its hooked to my reciever which is hooked to my laptop. these speakers and sub will be used for rap music only. would eminence speakers get louder or just stick with these daytons?

either way, i still need to get crossovers. i dont know which ones to get though, i know nothing about crossovers. could someone show me which ones will be best to get?

and opinions on the dayton mids/tweets i have? anyone have them?

thanks

VJ

You can build your own crossovers, it does take a little reading and knowledge first though :)

Probably would be easier to start with a two-way setup before going to dual mids per tower. Or at least build a project where the Xover and cabinets have already been designed.

If you know how to solder, you can build crossovers. Not difficult at all.

Designing them, on the other hand...:)

Like I said, there's no real reason for a project like this.

Unless you've looked through all the PE projects and hated every one of them.

With those two drivers you picked you would have to go with a 3-way setup....

Do you know what type box you want to put them in, size, design, etc?

dont know what size or anything, just gonna put them in a tower...i might get a few more speakers, i dont know yet. i want to have loud clean highs. its gonna be a while before i do anything, i just wanna start finding out about it now so when im ready to do it i will know everything.
