(Hope I put this in the right place. Mods don't throw me against the wall if I didn't.:D )

I am trying to find a program that allows me to remove part of a MP3 file. Specifically, after burning a CD to MP3, some Cd's have extra "goodies" to listen to like 10 to 15 minutes into the last track on the CD. I want to remove the dead space. Or even split it into multiple tracts. A freeware program would be great. I checked on download and Tucows but I'm not sure what would work like I want.
I hope that makes sense.

Thanks!

www.afterdawn.com is a great site for these questions

I used a program called Polterbits once. It was great. It let me open MP3's and look at the entire track as the music wave's laid out, I could highlight anything, copy, paste, delete, splice, then after i was done i could save the final product as an MP3. it was a great program

SoundForge... I used it about a year ago, and it worked pretty darn good...
