the past 2 days ive kind of been mashing the gas, lol. but what could be some solutions?

Pull up the self diagnoses thing from the ECU

Thats the check engine light. Most likely a sensor gone bad. Check your oxygen sensor mass air flow sensor all tha stuff. If none of that fixes it try changing the oil and all of the fluids and if that still doesnt work you may want to take it in to get a tune up.

They couldn't do mine cuz mine is a different OBD version or whatever, I think they only do OBD-II

If its obd-1 you can check it yourself by grounding out two of the pins with a paper clip. I dont remember which ones they are tho. I will get back to you with that in the morning if you have obd-1. Let me know.
