I've got a friend who had a..i think it was a 97 Avenger. His had a V6 and was an automatic, he ended up putting two transmissions in it before he finally got rid of it. I would stay away from an automatic Avenger.

I got a 97 stratus I think its the same car basically. I got it with 75,000 on it two years ago and only paid $3400 for it. Ive put 45,000 on it and havent done a dang thing to it. Im very happy with it and it gets good gas mileage for a six cyl and it has quite a bit of room inside. I think the chrysler may be a little more luxurious on the inside. I would recommend these cars. Then again maybe I just got a good one :D

You can get my Honda for $2000, and spend the other three doping it up.

I'm in Ohio, btw.

Body kit included.

Bluebook is $3800 on it.

1992 Honda Prelude Si
Power sunroof, windows;

Vis fiberglass Invader front end
Extreme Dimensions Urethane rear
z3 Fender
Shaved antenna and emblems
3 sets of ZN-3 RCAs run, wires for tweets and mids left and right run to the trunk also.
0ga, 4ga, 100 amp ANL box

I'll check the mileage, I think 130.
Oh; It's an automatic, if that's a dealbreaker.
Was owned by a prissy interior decorator girl. Found lee-press ons when I stripped the interior out for the install.

Runs better than my Audi A4. <sigh> It's only for sale so I can fix the Audi. Did you know it's $400 to replace a thermostat in an a4?! Behind the timing, apparently.

Pictures worth a thousand words;

In advance;

All you import hating sons of *****es, keep it to yourself.

Sorry for the bad pic, just a cellphone progress pic I sent to my gf.
If you want, I'll snap some better pics tomorrow.

Just noticed, sideskirts not installed in that pic.

You can't see much of the interior work, but I reupholstered the armrest, dyed the vinyl, dyed the console red, etc.

Check out the premium tweeter location. ;) Got fully active CDT's in there now.

Dude.. I can see you like crappy cars first you had an Intrepid... Now you are looking at these ??????:crazy:
Come on bro... stay away from all that crap. Find yourself a nice Acura Integra, Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Nissan Maxima, If you are looking for a good dependable 4 door car....

He's sixteen, no sense in that. Besides, those cars aren't worth a dime in ten years. Not to mention that if you're making payments on a car, you need to have full coverage insurance. Which for someone his age is incredibly expensive.

SweetCamry up there gives some pretty good advice, although personally I'm not a big Toyota fan. Fact is these Hondas are tough as nails.

Never thought I'd be a Honda guy. <shrug> Here I am, rice and all.

All the cars your naming off seem to have a lot of miles on them? Why don't you try and find a honda with under 100K miles on it? Anything like that has a better chance of lasting you.

Hondas have a tendancy to depreciate very well, making a 2005 Honda with 12,000 on it cost nearly as much as a brand new one; And so continuing downward. :)

my brother and friend both deliver pizzas and put like 40k-60k on year on their hondas(90 accords). Both accords take it like a champ, rarely needing anything done. 200k+miles on em right now

My buddy used an a4 as well.....10k miles and 1 month later....he went back to driving his honda for it :).
