Tuning on a home audio box??????????

does anyone know what the tuning usually is on a home theater subwoofer box?is it lower? im using a 12inch infinity reference 1242 if it matters thanks.

from what I've seen posted, most usually reccomend low tuning, like 25 hz low.

If you're building a box, the 20's are a good place for the tune.

A lot depends on the particular driver, it's mechanical powerhandling in the particular enclosure, and your goals, tuning frequencies from as low as 15hz to ~25hz are common with large diy enclosures.
