I've had two sets...incredible tweeter...very good midrange/midbass...but the cal28 is the Gem.....

I think the Scans and Audio Technology drivers are a ton better IMO...

I run the CAL28's. It's a special tweeter, no doubt about it in my opinion. I will soon be changing my install a bit. This past weekend I moved the tweets from the apillar pods where they currently are to down in the kicks where they'll be paired with a set of Morel CDM54's.

The drivers side tweet is way off axis up in my apillars. I wasn't hearing all the detail I thought this set was capable of. They still sounded REALLY good imo, but I thought that they could be better. Between having MUCH more equal pathlengths and them being on axis, I was shocked. Don't know what else to say but the topend, with no equalization, sounded better than it ever has in my truck. And this isn't my first set of tweets I've ever tryed by a longshot....:)

I was browsing this site the other night and saw that you frequent it a good bit. Good to see more Rainbow fans. I see that there are a BUNCH of them here...:D
