okay so not the best/biggest/baddest speakers out there but hooked em up today and played pretty clear to my ears, but its just for a little fiberglass project to add some rear highs. but flame if you must.

Nothing wrong with smallish coaxials at a good price ;)
I had a set of 2-way 4x6 inch JBLs that I thought sounded excellent amped around 35w or so. I gave like $45 I think for them new on a closeout from Crutchfield and they were worth well more than that to me.

Looking forward to following the 'glass log.

well ran some wires today for the 4" to the back from my door 6.5" speakers, wired them together like the manual recommended to go to a 2 ohm load. hooked em up and everything worked just fine! pics!

So you cant run them off of the HU wires? You gotta go straight to the doors to lower the ohm? Im thinking about doing the same project.

i didnt feel like messin with teh h.u. and all so i just went from the door thru the gromet and under the carpet to the back. took about n hr.

2mra its a 2 man job to get the box out of the back, then ill remove the panel and on wednesday its work time.
