help with ported box design

this is probably simple but i beed to know if someone says that you need a 35 square inch port how big or the dimensions of the shape that would be. I am new to the ported box designs and need help.

35 square inches is refering to the port area. You could accomplish it several ways I.E. 7" W x 5" H = 35"^2. 10" W x 3.5" H = 35"^2 and so on.
