VERY nice cuts. She even brought the wood indoors for pics... how nice. I believe she deserves much respect. How many 16 yr old females you know are into car audio, let alone build sweet ***, tight enclosures?

flakko's circle.... LOL. I think i saw that IN PERSON. the camera give it no justice haha. Flakko is a cool guy and builds fairly well, but when it comes to hoes, he just can't cut it.

haha... i said sweet ***. and tight.

keep up the good work jordan.

also have a question when yall cut out ur sub holes what do yall put on the board to keep it in Place?

imaspaceguy90
04-18-2006, 06:51 PM
most people cut the holes when the box is dry and when the box has itself as support

James Bang
04-18-2006, 06:59 PM
I myself liek to cut the sub cutout before the piece is on the box, in case i mess up. I just lay the piece on top of some leftover pieces of MDF under it (both sides of the circle) then kneel on it and cut... Or if the piece is big enough I use my work bench, or you can clamp it down to two saw horses. then you ride the horses :hihorse:

My order: (for traditional L-shape ported box)
ports, face, side opposite to port, side on port, back, then top.

And oh yeah, I was looking at my plans last night and if you space all the port walls correctly then you should only have an eighth of an inch on each side of the sub cutout to the port walls, so be careful :)
