Clifford Concept 40 series alarm

hey,
i just purchased a car with this alarm and the previous owner disabled it. i am trying to enable the alarm and everytime i power the alarm up, my rear lights wont stop blinking. does anyone know what this means? i tried reading through the manual online but i did not see anything about rear lights blinking.

When the alarm is going off it will flash the parking lights. Did you try disarming it with the remote after connecting the power?

yea the alarm was disarmed and the lights were still blinking. i also started up the engine and the lights still blinked. i have no clue on how to get it to stop. do you think a shop that installs alarms will know how to fix the problem?

yea, but expect to pay for it...make sure that the alarm is disarmed too

as long as it starts working again. ill give it a couple more trys before though
