suggestions? 9835 or 9853?

hey everyone. well, i came up on a great deal for a year old 9835 for a pretty cheap price and right now i have a 9853.

the guy whos selling the 9835 doesnt have the box and other paperwork anymore but it looks brand new still - no scratches or anything and everythings working perfectly.

i just dont know if i should go through with it because i dont know how he treated it in that past year. im just scared that itll only last me a few months and crap out on me.

im leaning towards just picking it up and ditching the 53.

what do you guys say?

9835 i had the 9853 and went to a 9833 and like the 33 better so the 9835 has got to be even better.

but with my circumstances, what should i do?

i really want to get it because of all the good things ive heard about it.. but i dont know what to do.. hahah

i have the 53 now..and i dont like it..switched from my pioneer 860..the output just isnt there either is the capabilities to tune..the 9835 on the other hand..id kill to be able to find one at a decent price..get the 35

9835 has my vote... i was determined to get one for a while but im finally going to settle with the new pioneer p880prs

i have the 9855 and i dont know how i looked at anything else (display wise) conrols are iffy and i prolly would rather have a 35... so yea.... i would go with the 35
