Is there a way to make this work? Put MP3's onto a DVD and have it play like a CD w/ MP3's written onto it? I tried just now burning a DVD full of MP3's and it did not work.

Well if you tried it and it didn't work, I think you've already answered your own question...

Not really. My question was to see if there was a way to make this work.

Well then I'll come right out and say no since the you've already found out the deck is not compatible with DVD MP3s. Sorry to be the one to break it to you.. I know the Alpine IVA-D310 does for sure, and so does the Clarion VRX765VD, and that's all I know of off hand thru personal experience.. It IS a nice feature, but unfortunately not all manufacturers are choosing to support this, and I'm really not sure why.. It can read DVDs, it can read MP3s, but not MP3s on a DVD? Seems only logical to me, but I don't know enough about the technical limitations.. All I can suggest is to maybe try another brand/format of DVD (+R or -R) and see what happens.. But I wouldn't be surprised if it's not in the N3s spec, which is a shame.. Good luck..

Thanks, I doubt it would be the +R or -R for this stupid HU, I have a dvd movie burned onto the same kind of disc and it plays fine. There must be a way. Right now the only way is MP3 to DVD, by using some program that makes it play as a video. I can still put way over 1000 songs onto it.

This can be done, I have done it a few times with my AVIC-N2. You need to get Roxio Media creator 8.0. What you will do is make it into a DVD AUDIO disc. It is a pain in the *** to do but it works. Your .mp3 dvd will play like a DVD movie in that the song titles will not pop up for you to select them with the touck screen. You will end up using the DVD navigation controls. It's still pretty cool, you can do all types of background images and what not. Try it out, works great just takes a lot of time to make the disc. Hope this helps you out, good luck.

Whoa, you figured out how to play .mp3's on your AVH-P7500DVD? How, I've been trying to no avail. I can make a CD with .mp3's, but when I make a DVD filled with .mp3's (on Nero) it won't read it. :(
