There's a best buy employee for ya!

No.Pre-fab bandpass boxes are just boom boxes.....no real sound quality.

Buy the tools for 80 and make a box.

I picked up a cheap black and decker kit from wal-mart for 50 bucks i got the drill, jigsaw, and sander. Now take the extra 20-30 and buy wood.

Ya get what ya pay for with tools ;). Also, if you're gonna buy tools just to build one box...might as well just have someone else build it, at least imo.

prefab boxes are mass manufactured and arent always made for a specific sub. they sometimes are made out of shatty wood and arent very well sealed. plus they make them look cool which doesnt always = good sound

If you don't have the tools to build one and its your first time I would say get a custom box done by a local shop
