Those braces are worthless.

Looks like little scraps of MDF glued to a giant sheet of wood. You definitely gotta beef up the bracing if you want to control any flexing.

Had to come to me on the west coast of Canada. I think it was about 2 1/2 weeks or something. So for me that's pretty good. I'm sure you will get yours much quicker.

no its not, becausing his box is gunna be flopping around like a fish on the floor. those braces are crap. shoulda put a piece going from each corner to the opposite corner.

I don't know **** about building boxes, but I can tell you that those look like some pretty weak *** braces that won't do a whole lot, put some real braces in there.

They sell round poles(kinda like broom handles) and homedepot/lowes that would work work well for bracing that huge thing and dont take much airspace.

I would have done a slot port, or used those 10" ports you had; and deffinitly done more than 100sq inches of port area... But it looks good so far. What did you decide on power?

Still got alot of **** to do with only like 18 hours (non stop) to do it all.

I have to go buy more silicone and carpet. Make the holes for the ports. Put the front part of the box on with the ports, glue, and seal it. Paint some parts of the box. Carpet it. Connect the battery. Connect voltage meter. Finish the amp rack & battery rack. Connect amp. Run all the wires.

Wait for the 2500d to get here.

Shouldn't be too hard to get it all done.

The tools I used. At first I used the saw but it took forever and became very tiring (obviously). Took me like 5 minutes to do each flare using the saw. I did two of them and then I remembered I had that other electrical saw in the car. Went and got it. Took me 10 seconds to cut each pipe neatly

alright, box is supposed to be 18cuft...

eight 4inch ports, at what appears to be about 7- 8inches long?

meaning a tuning of around 37 - 40Hz...

hmmBox is 17.4 cubes. It has two chambers. Each chamber has four 4" ports that are 10.5" Long.

It's possible they are when the back flare is put on. Looks can be deceiving with length when seeing them compared to the **** mouth.

Each end flare equals 2.5". So he only needed to cut the tube 5.5".
2.5"+2.5"+5.5"=10.5"

I think he'd know ;)...

X2 with the precision ports;) say you need a port that is 10" long subtract 5" from that and cut the tube to 5". :D Thats whats in the directions.
