Chad and Dale were VERY VERY nice. they answered all of my questions thoroughly, handled my order promptly, and sent an invoice within a couple hours, what more can i ask for?

honestly a couple people start talking about bad experiences and the bandwagon starts rolling. I mean with the amt of orders they get per day, the amout of people calling in, its tough with 2 people handling all of it, heck im having a hard time with what im doing right now lol. I hope this post will change peoples minds about ordering from them.

but eh. I had a pleasant experience with them, and will not hesitate to order from them again if that means anything, but they dont have anything i need :p:

oh and i ordered a set of Poly mids. ;) gonna mate them with a set of Rainbow CAL25 ALK's :)

my soundlines will be soon for sale, although J-dizzle has dibs? unless he dont want them no more.

and i recieved an email from chad and dale on the same day.

good job posting a positive experience. it is hard for 2 people to design the products, ship them, take phone calls and emails, and update the website...although they need to work on the website part. :)

why do you want to buy mids that have design flaws? do you just wanna test em out cuz they are so cheap or what.

they work fine for me, if i had them in sealed pods or in my doors i bet they would have much better mid-bass but they do pretty well where they are.
and as far as "flaws" go i have a bit of tensil slap that i could probably fix rather easily if i cared enough to do it.
it is so few and far between that it happens i am not worrying about it.

thanks, but seriously....only having a 2 man operation in this business is tough. was like that with usamps about 6 months ago. was the accountant, and some other guy. times were tough then. but now look what happened :D

Magick:

you said put some felt on the cone in another thread? wont it hinder the performance adding weight to the cone?

sorry, didn't read any of the other posts, just responding to your post.

they are running a business where demand is instilled, who in there right mind would run a business with only two people? i'm sorry if they can't handle all the calls and what not but its their fault if they can't handle it. hire some other people so they can handle all the orders. its not cool when everything is not responded in a promptly fashion. its just not good for business. look at ike, there have been a few complaints about them but generally many people have had good experiences with them hence there 97% positive feedback on ebay. but people seem to look down on ike in general as a whack business.

anyways your lil diy setup looks great with the CAL25 tweets. what crossover are you going to use?

i agree with you there. maybe they dont make enough money to hire on new help? doing stuff factory direct, you dont have much markup from what i have seen.

yea man! im just using the passive that came with the xovers.... its DIY passive style lol. just for now tho. I came accross these tweets at an AMAZING price. maybe some day down the road im gonna go active. i already have a $20 profile xover :)

I think they did not expect that much "growth" in that short of a time and thus Chad was not prepared to get help. if you hire one more person it does take some time to train them. however, based on a few complains they need to get back to the norm when it comes to CS.

i mean its not that expensive hiring someone just to sit at a desk and take orders or at least help these guys out.

anyways thats cool on the deal hope you enjoy them. heard great things about those cal25. boo on passive :D. do you know the xover pt on those passives? if so, will those AA mids work well with that xover pt?

takes a crapload of paperwork, taxes, wages, etc. youd have know AA's financial situation, and like i said, before, selling factory direct you really dont have much markup.

ah dang i donno the xover point... i emailed the person right now :D chad said 2.5-3khz woudld be okay before beaming starts. thanks for the heads up lol

edit: i just noticed i have a really high post count....
