Nice work... I'm going to build an identical box during my spring break, and what do you know? It's going into a 93 camry as well =P . I'd like to know dimensions of the pieces of wood so I can copy you =D I think I'm going to tune it a little lower though, around 28 hz.

P.S. love the lighting source for the last pic

thanks. I did not carpet this box because (1) it wasn't part of the deal adn (2) I've never done a carpet job. I've only carpeted an amp rack b4 and I didn't like it all that much.

Also the bare wood look grew on me. :D

I've always wanted to try to do those 45 peices between the wood, but does it really do anything? good looking box anyway

you got your corner clamps at harbor freight didn't you? I would remove the safety shroud on the table saw my self. They always get in the way, and I can't make dados with them on. The thingamajig is a pretty snifty counter-sink. What ever works I guess. Nice toe nails btw too. (just talking ****) Over all end product seems to look good so far.

saywhat?

wellll JL your gay, he should always use wood glue.

i wouldnt of used gorilla glue (it will work ) but wood glue is MUCH better.

James Bang

yup, corner clamps are from harbor frieght. was on sale for $1.50 each. not too shabby.

Those 45s on the corners are suppose to induce better air flow. I made them small so it wouldn't mess w/ the volume too much.

and that terminal was bought from ebay.. search bi-amp terminal.

hmmm.. so he is gay.

anyhow, I didn't use gorilla glue all around. That would have been a major pain in the arse. I only gorilla glued the port walls because i feel that should be the most secure spot, but that's just me. wood glue is much easier to work w/ and is very efficient also.

-James

and thanks delucifer. I see you're climbing up the caraudio ladder quickly
