Well through advanced research and technology that goes into the system to make your brain think you have a full surround system and that there is sound all around you they stick it in your butt.... Bose, is always expence, and not worth it; at all!

Bose = 5% materials, and 95% marketing. That is all.

Are you sure Blows uses that much material??? More like 0.1%....

Virtual surround is not surround. The wanker on the commercial who is a "audio designer" knows nothing. I also love the wave radio commercials where they say that audiophiles have made it into their main home system.

Notice how loud they turn up the volume during the demo
Have you ever had a salesman turn the volume up on a normal reciever to 80% up ?
I dont think so
The only thing they have going for them is size, its pretty small stuff. Thats about it

THey just have a kick *** marketing department. If they put as much money in their marketing as they did in development then it would prolly sound good.

Bose=Rockford Fosgate or Harley Davidson, your paying all that money for the name, not excellence in engineering or design. My .02 worth.

So when you buy an RF T3000 you're just paying for the name and not the near 1000+ watts it does over rated power

Both have nice products, wouldn't say amazing, but nice for sure and I never said they were bad. But I firmly believe that you pay a lot for that badge on those brands and that better can be had for less money. This is not gospel just my opinion but definitely not rubbish.

Agreed, with Harley you are paying for the feel, the sound and the smell. I have a harley and I have ridden other bikes but nothing beats a harley.

LMAO...

I guess I'll post the slogan EhRon reminded me of...

No highs, no lows... it must be Bose.

On a side note, I'm getting rid of my e8a. Its going in pieces to Hawaii, he wants the cone/surround, and I'm not about to try to pry them out, I can't get a recone for it, ao to me it is pointless. The basket is cracked to start with, so its going in two pieces to hawaii cut in half + a money order. But he is shipping me a DD 1008, hehe.

*edit* the reason I'm doing that is because I'm not paying shipping for a busted *** woofer to Hawaii that would cost more to recone than the **** thing cost me and is worth.

Frys had a BOSE demo room
They played music and junk and they lifted off the " covers" that looked like your average bookshelf speaker to reveal the puny lil bose speakers
I was impressed but there was some " psycho acoustics" in that room because it sounded pretty good.
i asked one of the sales man if he would take the BOSE over a HK setup over the BOSE.
and i'll leave it at that......

Bose just doesn't sound real. When you have a really good speaker system and you close your eyes you should think that what you are listening to is really there. You should be able to hear things that you wouldn't hear on a normal system. And, everything should not sound the same, meaning a lot of decent systems are colored and characterized by the speaker so different albums at some points sound the same (all albums share sonic characters that they shouldn't). But, jesus christ comparing B&W to bose can you hear?!?!?!? If you can't tell the difference then you need to put a bullet in your brain or never ever talk about audio to anyone ever again.

Or we should just blow some compressed air into his ear canals and implode his ear drums.
P.S
5 1/4" woofers are not subwoofers.....
silly bose

Hahaha, I was thinking about some red hot steel pokers so it completly destroys his ear drums.
