Terminal. Nice clean look and you dont have to worry about the wire not being long enough. If you cut the hole right for a terminal there won't be any leaks

if it is for me, I do a hole, and seal it with a knot in the wire and liquid nails, or resin with fine chopped fiberglass fibers. For a customer I usually give them a cup. Its what most people know as normal. Gives it aesthetic apeal too.

For customers or for a box I want to look nice, I use terminals. If it's my own and it's going to be receiving quite a bit of power, there's no point in having an unnecessary voltage drop.

i myself use the traditional terminals.
my latest box has a bi-amp speaker terminal so i can change the ohm impedence from the outside if i needed.

Thats why I make mine extra long, then just cut it. Just drill a hole;)

Holes with wire thru is best, but you must make the hole tight around the wire. Post would be my second choice.

haha another reason I use them - there are about 30 laying around from when my bro built boxes back a few years ago

laziness shouldn't be involved while building a box. choose the path which will make you proud of what you have built w/ ur own two hands, not some cheap lazy, half-assed job. that can be used as a vented laundry hamper.

I have gotten in to the habit of using these lately.

They come in real handy for those who like to experiment with different subs. Most of the time I use the cheapo terminal cups that I still have laying around from the last sale PE had :)
