We're using an electric nail gun to put 1" nails (brad) into the wood for letting the glue dry. Now they can hold the wood decently together(still a little wobbly) but how long does it take Titebond 2 to really set until we can start work on another piece? Thanks again.

what size wood are you using? if you are using 3/4" material you need a 1.5" to 2" nail. You dont need to wait for the glue to dry to put another piece on, just make sure you dont pull apart the baffles that are already nailed together.

well we're using the very very very small brad nails (skinny). Would an air powered nail gun and 1.5" nails splinter the wood? I'm thinking yes.

how big is the wood?

I was kinda wondering this myself... using 3/4" and woodglue

No, I haven't had any problems with splitting..

However I only use nails every 3 inches apart..

and I am using 2" brad nails

Thank God this isn't another liquid nails vs. woodglue thread.

I agree. Glue, clamp, nail, unclamp - good for the next piece.
