I have searched this forum and a couple others about which component set is better, DLS MS6A or Rainbow Soundlines. I get mixed results from everywhere, usually on older versions of the lines. I wanted to know from you guys because everyone here is very well informed. Could you please give me some opinions:
DLS MS6A w/ UP1C tweet
Rainbow Soundline SLC 265
They will be recieving ~80W RMS in stock door locations. I listen to R&B, classical, and alternative if that helps.

We sell both...truth is at that price range the SLC is a better choice. I'd have a hard tme recommending anything else unless you spent +$100-150 more. Their midbass is very good, and the tweeter has more airiness than the MS6's.

I dont really think they are in my price/performance range. I also find it very hard to locate a dealer for the warranty, dont wan to do ebay either.

Yea Im getting the impression that the Rainbows are winning the comparison. Just wondering if they are as forgiving in stock door locations as the DLS?

yea I have been wanting to plexi the holes up but honestly they have amazing midbass as it is. I actually run them all the way down to 50hz granted I don't turn them up very loud when I do. I dont listen to much rap any more and these speakers eliminate my need/want for a subwoofer
