Is this a really good idea?..Or am I better off trying to make my own (even though im completely unexperienced)..?

buildng a box is pretty simple if you cant do it have a friend or somtin do it for ya im sure somone oyu know knows how to do it. otherwise try speakerhole.com

Sealed boxes are easy to make :) Have a friend with wood working experience give you a hand. You will save a lot of money this way...which is always good;)

Im going for SPL..So a ported box would be the way to go right?..
