OK I am currently having two boxes made. One for comps and another for daily driving. I don't want just a regular carpeted box. I want it to look nice. I have seen some nices boxes here on caraudio. Some wooded boxes had some stuff added to it that made the box look king of like granite. I want to keep this simple. Things I can buy at home depot that are cheap but will make the box nice. Any suggestions and pics of nice boxes please post them here.

Route the edges.
Paint with fleckstone paint, from home depot.
Maybe carpet and do some inserts underneath the carpet to put in a symbol or something of the like?

Indeed.
I used a roundover bit on all the edges, and sanded it with 120-600grit...in steps. It was so **** smooth, and it shined. ;)
