My automatic tranny finally went out, after months and months of acting up my tranny officially only had 1st and 2nd gear. :crap:

Driving down the road, I was having such a good day, then my car shifted to third and it wasn't pulling at all, just reving up so I floored it cuz I had similar problems with the tranny slippin, but it wouldn't do nothing but redline. So I had to drive home (7 miles) in second gear the whole way running at about 40mph @ 3000RPM's :crying:

Well atleast my federal tax check came in, I guess I will have to buy a new (to me) tranny this week :crap:

i think after the 1first replacement i just would have gotten a new car. i had to have a shift improvement kit installed in my car. tranny is starting to slip slightly again so i may rebuild it this summer.

Amen on dodge trannies, bought my grandma's 89 dodge dynasty with 48k miles on it, and i lost all gears above 1st at 52k....

Pulled into a bob evan's parking lot, and it wouldn't even reverse out of the spot. It sat there until goodwill came and towed it away :(
