i always wondered how they tuck the carpet in, so do u have one side wall in 3/4 and another one thats a tad smaller so u can push it in on the edges?

i used a rabbit bit on the sides of the box before i put it all together..makes a nice little lip in the sides and you tuck the carpet into it :)

and the blue little tool is actually used to pry off plastic pieces inside the car without damaging anything...but it works well for tucking in carpet into the little lip also without damaging it :)

ehhhhhh for vinyl i'd make the corners more rounded than i did so..since vinyl is not a fan of sharp angles like that.

so jus kinda sand the corners/edges then tuck the left over vinyl like u did in the line created by the rabbit bit. how deep is the cut that u create with the rabit bit?

i dont sand the corners :) i use a roundover bit on the router for it :) and the cut is probably about...around 1/8 or 3/16 deep and high.
