1.8cf. tuned to 35hz (PER) is the smallest I'd go.

then you don't want sealed.
USUALLY with boxes: sealed=more for SQ, ported=more for SPL

no killin' necessary. Look in the sticky up there and see if there's already a box size for whatcha want.

3.00 cu. ft / 43 hz tuning / 11.5x2.5x14.5 port. per THIS

http://www.memphiscaraudio.com/LiveImages/112/56/DocumentURL1.pdf

this one of moe's looks close, but it's tuned a little lower.

yep.
It is 2.9cf tuned to 33. Memphis says 3cf tuned to 43hz MIN for two subs.
That link was found by looking at the PDF I found on Memphis' site, then going to the box plans sticky and looking for a plan that matched the cubic feet requirement. then I clicked on the thumbnail moe provided and waaalaah.
I was hoping you'd do it yourself.

if you're that inexperienced have someone build you a box because a box will make the difference between sounding like **** and bumping and if you want loud get mclass subs

From your first suggestion then, go ahead and build a sealed enclosure and see if you like it. The volume may be good for now...the SQ will be better anyway. Down the road, and after you've built a box, you can start on another enclosure while you have the sealed in your car.;)

if you want loud dont go with sealed but hes right get it in your car

yeah, look on the pr124d line. 2CF for decent power, 3CF for lower power. They don't give dimensions.

No, it's Ruckus' box.

Thread starter, you need to read up more...a LOT more before starting to build an enclosure. It makes or breaks the sub and if you don't know what you're doing, or even worse, WHY you're doing it, you won't know what to expect.

Me thinks, lemans, that nvRuckus and Ruckus are the same person, but I COULD be wrong.

I was referring to lemans=pv audio and that people could have used more than 1 login. I think I remember ruckus dying when you couldn't post in classifieds? Anyway, I hope help him out since PV Audio won't.

Do you have all the tools needed to build a box? you are going to need clamps, squares, table saw, jig saw, circular saw, etc, etc...

It helps to have a little experience working with wood.

Good luck!

He told me he was getting everything precut, so hes gonna glue it and screw it. I had him buy a drillbit with a countersink hopefully he can do it ;) After i gave him the plans he disappeared off AIM so i dont know what happened LOL
