Well I haven't posted here in awhile. I've kinda gotten out of car audio and into performance with my GTO.

After totaling my Camaro I picked up a new 2005 GTO. I didn't mess around with the car seeing as how I parted out the Camaro and sold everything from it to make the goat fast. So far I have done custom cam, PRC dual valve springs, Comp Cams pushrods, FAST 90mm intake manifold, Stainless Works coated headers, no cats, Magnaflow cat back, Volant cold air intake, Yank SS converter, B&M tranny cooler, dyno tune, BMR drag bags, Hotchkis sway bars, 18" TSW Thruxtons wheels, 245/275 BFG KDW2's and 6000k HID's.

This week I'm swapping out the rear 275 KDW2's out for BFG drag radials. Then hopefully HP Tuners will get us the new software and cables so we can dial in the tune better (not a very good tune right now). I may do a system in the car, but I hate to weigh it down any.

So far the car has ran a 12.2 @ 113 with a 1.9 60'. I'm hoping switching from Nitto 555R's to BFG DR's will cut my 60' down to 1.7's. Plus we just added the FAST last night so that should up my trap 2-3MPH. If it goes as planned I'll be running some 11.8's at the track this weekend.

Here are some pics...

Thanks for all the nice comments. It's taken a lot of work, time, selling and money to get the car to where is is now. My goal is to be the first cam and bolt on only 11 second GTO... I'm close, but there are others closer.

The cam is a secret and I promised my buds I wouldn't tell. It took them months designing this monster of a cam that is daily driver friendly.

The conver stall is a 3600. It took alot of getting use to, now it feels normal to me. It does **** up the gas in town though, **** gas prices are not helping either :(

First run was right when I got there, so it was heat soaked and bogged bad. Second run we let it have some time to cool off and stalled it to 1900 not to bog. Third run we did a lot of cool down, ran the heat/used a wire to have the fans on. It should have been an 11 second run, but we were pro treed so that messed me up and I didn't get to stall it so I bogged off the line. Oh well, next time 11's are mine :). It was alittle hot out as well and the DA was 2890 :(

I took off the spoiler, I'm going for more of a classy look. I'm debadging the car since I believe it's a Holden and not a Pontiac GTO (Holden make this car anyways). I just plugged the holes from the spoiler for now, I will have them shaved and it repainted when I get my Holden bumper.

The cars come with a 6 speed. Though this is my everyday driver, so I didn't want a M6. I did want 19" wheels, but that would have given me less sidewall and that isn't good for drag racing. :(

Here are a few newer pics. I'm debadging the car. I took off the "GTO 6.0" emblems off the fenders and replaced them with the Monaro side markers. Then I took off the lower bumper insert that said "GTO" on it and replaced with the Monaro rear bumper insert. I guess I'm making a GTO/Monaro hybrid thingy.

All I know is I don't want any GTO or pontiac emblems on the outside of the car. All I got left to do is have some custom grills made, have the pontiac logos on the trunk/front bumper shaved along with the holes from the spoiler. Then have the lower bumper insert painted along with whatever else I shaved off with it. :)

Here is a quick walk around the car and idle/small rev vid. First rev was up to 3500RPM's, second was up to 2500. I didn't want to get killed by my neighbors so I kept the revs down :(. Maybe I'll make a good reving vid later :). As you can tell it idles nicely, still having alittle trouble with start up (**** HP Tuners!). The vid does not do it justice though, enjoy.

It's Impulse Blue Metallic, RPO 24U... that's all I know. Dunno if that helps.

Thanks man :). I parted out my totaled Camaro and did a lot of saving to do that. Took the money I got from the insurance for a down payment on the goat. The rest was just a right place at the right time kind of thing. I was just gonna do a full exhaust and that was it. Though I got an offer on a new cam, they needed some test subjects for it and I just could not pass up the deal. I hate having car payments :(
