you can either.

get the ipod adapter that allows you to use your ipod through yourHU.

or.

you can get the optional aux CD-RB10 or CD-RB20 to add on to the back, which will allow you to connect to your ipod via the headpohone jack.

the ipod adapter will let you use your ipod through your head unit, the optional aux jack will just play your ipod through your car speakrs, but you still have to use the acutal ipod to select songs.

You need the CD-IB100, we sell it at Circuit City. It hooks into the IP-Bus slot on the rear of the HU.

my friend and i did his with his pioneer CD player and ipod thing, all you do is drill a small hole to run the wire into the glove box, and velcro the interface into the glove box. and then you can have easy access to your ipod if you want to take it out.

no

but really its not that hard. it took us all of 15 minuntes to open the box, take everything out, pull out his CD player, connect everytthing, hide the wires and put it all back together.

who do i look like? God? i dont know, this is your car not mine....figure something out. try running it somewhere else then, like put the interface under the seat and run the ipod line to the center console or something. be creative.
