The Alpine 9847 is OK but I am a dedicated EQ man, can't have a system without one, 11 bands minimum. So my Eq is going and my search for a new one is disapponting. I was considdering the Audio Control DQT/DDC pair, but then I heard people talking about it being a PITA to set band by band, and it is very expensive.
So then I start wondering.........most head units only seem to have 5 bands......then I see the Pioneer premier line...13 band eq's...........hmmm.
Are there any other units with 11 or more eq bands built in?
P.S. what ever happened to alpines DSP's and eq's, they don't make them anymore? I sure can't find anything?
What do you guys think I should do?

look into something by eclipse like an 8454/8443/8053. those decks also have 3-way xovers

I believe my 8053 has 13 parametric but don't quote me directly. Just curious why you feel the need for all the eq'ing?

you could buy a 1/2 din eq. THey go for alright prices. Bought one for my kenwood deck. 9 band but for about 40 bucks.
