Im worried that these arent going to be able to keep up with my sub(sx 18) Is it probably the install or should i try something else or what?

your deck is starting to clip, do yourself a favor and get some nice comps---AMP them and you'll be amazed.

I have a set if CL's for $120 + shipping.

Amp, definently a 2 channel.Something like 100rms x 2

If you're on a budget I'd highly recommend looking at profile amps.

I could have sworn that you bought the xenon comps. Guess you never went through with that.

You could also buy an amp first, and then try your revs out again. They should improve a lot just with some extra clean power.

Do you have them amped? I was surprised at how bad they are.

I was looking into these for comps but if you say there not to great then i duno. I havent heard them yet but i've heard like the Alpine S, R, and X's and they were okay. The X's were nice but the other two were alright. Not to hijack but im just tryin to get an idea on these.

P.S.- Are the profile amps good enough for the money? How do they compare with like the PG 2.5.2 and Kicker 350.4 and stuff?

It's impossible to judge speakers in the mobile environment without enough unclipped power on them...

Okay so it looks like im going to be getting an orion 4002. What do i need to run two amps im thinking Fused O guage wire from battery to distro block fused?(if the distro block is fused do i still need fuses from the four gauge wire to the amps?) 2 four guage wire to amps. 2 four guage ground wire to distro block 0guage wire to ground. Is that right or am i missing something?

no amp = dull sounding speakers
Of course you didnt state which model speaker you are running

How are these in components? Thinking about getting them and putting them on about 80 watts.
