What is the best set of focal speakers? 6.5 Component... Obviously the utopia is the best of the line, are the 165w's the best?

Or... what is the most expensive set of Focal 6.5 components?

Also, can anyone find MSRP on these for me?

Gonna try to answer this then sort of ask my own question to not start a new thread.

The most expensive that i can tell is the 165W3 that seems to retail at $1500.00

utopia seem to be the top of the line for focal but i could be wrong on that.

I am intrested in the 165w and was wondering what would be the best amp to match it with, i can afford $500 for the amp which seems to put me in line with the JL 300/2 or 300/4 or the zapco ref350, i was also looking at the MB Quart 2400 amp.

I was told at the local shop to use the zapco and wire each speaker and tweeter sperate onto a 4 channel amp, just wondering if thats the best way to go or if it will over power the tweeters that way. thanks in advance

ok..Utopia isn't necessarily the best Focal product. It is their top of the line Sound Quality stuff yes, but the K2's can sometimes be more appropriate for crusing down the road and jamming. They can handle a bit more impact then the Utopia's. I personally have Utopia's, but that is because I compete and I need the full SQ. I've even heard in some cars it depends on the type of car which one will sound better. If you can you might want to look into the Be components. I can't remember what they run at the moment, but they are incredible. I'm about to get a set put in my vehicle.

I have the older series Focal PolyKevlar 165K2 set and love it... well loved it. They are waiting to be installed into the new truck at this moment, I bought them off of ebay like 2.5 years ago and I am pleasantly surprised with the abuse they have taken!
