well actually to answer your guys questions, back up cameras come in different shapes and they all will plug into your heaad unit if it has a rear cam input,or use another video input, but picture wont pop up when u put it in reverse.they have flush mount cams liscence plate cams, bolt on cams like the new lexus vehicles comming out,ive installed lots of them and the picture is good on all the cams i used.hope this helps.

Do you rec any brand in particular or have a link to a good cam.

try the pioneer website,or accell website,or do a google search for the plate cam,i know audiovox carries a rear view mirror with a 3 inch screen in it,and it comes with a camera and dual source, and a speaker built in so u can hear behind also.

Welp ***** to be me.. the measurments on the ebay auction are wrong. So it aint gonna fit..

My friend got his camera from the same seller so i checked it out...

Actually it turns out my friend received a CCD camera not CMOS and is a different size.. the ccd camers are a larger diameter...

So now we can compare same brand CMOS to same brand CCD.. ill get pics

I believe you said you wanted CCD. A member on another forum I browse has this camera.. and has posted pics so u can get an idea what to expect with these specs.

There are tons of listings on eBay. Do a search for the seller mp3playerstore.com on eBay. That is where I got mine from. It is a C-7-Night-Vision-Wide-Angle-Car-Rear-View-Color-Camera
Also if there is a Fry's Electronics in your area they have many models in stock.

I've bought from mp3playerstore.com for friends they are good.

I just got my camera today.. the ****ing thing is much larger then stated in the auction so it won't fit in my keyhole..

The material of my trunk is like a fiber, or plastic.. wil be easy to cut thru..

My problem is I dont want to destroy the paint.. I dont want it to start flaking?

How can I enlarge the keyhole without starting a vicous cycle with the paint?
